Mary and I set up our lesson under the tree. We worked with the second oldest class in the school (the Standard 8s had already finished exams and had left) and of those, we worked with pupils who were quite fluent in English. The two of us had a great time working with the pupils and particularly enjoyed the spontaneous questions about Scotland they asked at the end.
On June 18th, Mary McAllister and I flew to Malawi to begin a two week visit to one of the most fascinating countries in the world. While there, as part of a British Council Global Schools Partnership Reciprocal Grant programme, we visited Kapalamula and Nakoma Primary Schools and learned so much about this amazing county. This is our story......(please start at Day 1)
